   Wix is preparing a new interactive format for 'forum-type' discussions from hereon in and we'll keep you advised about where on here and when it'll be available.    In the meantime, IF you were thinking of posting anything else on here.... DON'T! .

The basic(s) behind this header is that I have finally (and officially) called it a day with BA after an association of 58 years and 183 days. So... in order to keep our websites attractive, but, at the same time, factually-correct, we need all of you to let us know when you see content on here (or on our Facebook version) which has been superseded by newer info. - especially with regard to things like Staff Travel and items of general interest to our retired members who may not have access to the company's websites anymore? So(2)... if you come across anything that falls into the above categories, can you either comment on here or send us an email to 'crewsocial@yahoo.com' please?

... to those of you trying to join the site in recent months if it seemed we weren't aware of your presence. Bluntly, we weren't! When someone fills in the registration form, the action is supposed to be sent to us straight away by our American cousins. In short, it hasn't been... and I'll be going on the hunt to find out why. CREW SOCIAL (2025 final appraisal)...

Well... as my 'sell-by' approaches its 'sold by' date, I've completed my last appraisal of our sites as follows:-

Obviously, the most successful of our group pages with nearly 8k members. No need to do anything and it remains the same under the team of Juke, Rachel, Erica and Janie;

It's been pointed out just how many G&Ts the current £230+pa that I spend on this site would get me as I walk through warm sand on a beach into my blood-red sunset! I've now paid for a reduced site, but, although we can put things on it that a FB format can't offer, the 'Forum' over here certainly needs more input from yourselves if it's to continue;

Just to let you all know if you are looking to join a Gym you can’t do much better on price and quality than PURE gym and if you are a PARKINSON sufferer you get a years free membership worth £30 per month. They have great equipment and friendly personal trainers..

   All our colleagues are obviously important to us - our 'second family'.

   However, none more-so today than the passing of Derek at the age of 81 during last night.

   Many came to know 'Del' as one of the nicest and most caring people we could wish to meet - and especially in a work capacity.

   He was, of course, one of the crew members involved in the hijack and subsequent crew and passenger incarceration in Kuwait in October 1990 - the ramifications of which are still being felt today.

   There will doubtless be a veritable flood of comments and memories from you all following this sad news, so I'll leave you to it.
