BARRY MAYSH ...
Johnny Hatch and Bob Schwartz have notified us of the passing of Barry...who may not be known to many, due to the fact he didn't stay too long before moving on.

"Sadly I have to announce the passing of an ex crew member and an old friend, Barry Maysh. Barry, who was 71, died on the 18th October after a long and brave battle with a terminal illness. He joined BEA in 1970 and transferred over to BOAC in 1971, where he was on the same course as Rob Schwartz. He only stayed for about four years, but he made many friends in his time in the airline because he was a likeable type of guy. I am sure there will still be some of us left from that era who will remember him?. Myself, and another ex crew member, Kevin O'Flaherty, were both friends with Barry prior to our flying days, and Barry was Instrumental in both Kevin and myself following him into the airline. ..."
The funeral has already taken place.
