CAPTAIN IAN WALLACE ...
Due to the understandable shock of Ian's passing in Cyprus, his family and his mate Pete Povey are fighting a bit of a battle to sort out the arrangements back in the UK.
His popularity was such that they have been inundated with requests about the day - and, with over 120 friends, family and neighbours coming already, there will be an obvious limit on the numbers that can be accommodated. So, apart from the date (Friday May 31st), the probability is that the service will be somewhere in Henley-on-Thames...and is planned to be a celebration of Ian's life, rather than a sad farewell to a great bloke. The family request that, if you have an interest in attending that you liaise with Pete Povey at peterpovey@yahoo.co.uk ...or 07949 335201. I'm sure most of you will appreciate that turning up uninvited may make an unhappy day even more difficult for them all...so please follow the family's request above and do it through Pete....?
