"Dear all It's with great regret to all who knew him that Purser Bob Redmond passed away last night.Wed 7th Aug.after a long battle with a brain tumour. First diagnosed about 2 years ago.He was in reasonably good spirits when Stan Stewart, Ian Kearsley, Derek Fry and I visited him last week,but knew that he had not long to go. Funeral arrangements to follow when known. Regards to all John Mulliss..."
