This from Pete's son, Kevin:-
"Dear All.
My father Peter Watson died last Wednesday morning aged 87.
He started off on Stratocruisers in 1954, then Constellations, Argonauts, Britannia’s, VC10/B707’s and latterly the B747 in 1971, until he retired in 1986 at the age of 54. He was retired longer than he flew!
This photograph was taken in 1977 when I was at the tender age of 19. We did quite a few trips together until he retired.
Dad had been increasingly unwell for the last four months, and basically just wore out. He had an excellent life and loved his career with BOAC/BA. He enjoyed reminiscing about old times and his many friends in the job."
