One of our members asked this question this morning and the answer may help if any of you are in the same boat:-
The member was trying to book flights for a brother and another couple using vouchers from last year and wanted to know if the recent COVID-19 travel and services update applied to Hotline tickets You'll all probably know that there is no call centre you can talk to a.t.m. and all queries have to be dealt with online. Either way, the answer to this query was as follows:-
'During these uncertain times we offer our customers the opportunity to re-use the value of their ticket towards a future booking by issuing a voucher valid for travel completed by 30 April 2023. You can apply for a voucher on ba.com and this must be done prior the departure. After departure the ticket is not eligible for a voucher. You can receive a full refund only if BA cancels the flight.'
