CSD SONNY MABEY ...
From Steve Counterman: "It is my desperately sad duty to inform you that my uncle, Sonny Mabey, passed away on Friday 3rd May at 16.00 aged 82. He had been unwell for several years and was subsequently unable to attend the Bracknell Bash meetings that he used to look forward to. He was finally hospitalised about 6 weeks ago with severe Alzheimer’s that descended upon him at a rapidly deteriorating rate. I went to visit him the day before he left us with my wife Glenda. As his nephew I feel extremely lucky that I was able to say goodbye to my uncle and my mate. He passed away peacefully in his sleep with Angela by his side. Angela has asked me to pass on this sad news to the rest of the family which I have now done. She also asked me to contact Dennis Marsh to let others know through his cabin crew round robin email. I will of course let Dennis know what the funeral arrangements are as and when Angela lets me know the final details. Angela has now informed me of the final arrangements for Sonny's funeral. As follows, for you to circulate to the usual suspects asap please.
