"Today I attended the funeral of my dear friend Val Hewitson, née Inshaw.
Val died suddenly 30th September after being diagnosed with cancer. The funeral was attended by hundreds of friends and family with many familiar BA faces present.
Val lived life to the full - she was typical crew - a wonderful personality and will be greatly missed. We will be raising a glass of bubbles in her memory."
