LOOKING FOR A COLLEAGUE?

I know we’ve published this before, but the rules have changed slightly with regard to anyone looking to make contact with an out-of-touch colleague who has now left the company.   The basic rule is that, so long as BA Pensions are still paying a pension to the person involved, there is a procedure we have agreed to use with them to make contact.    So – without further ado:-

1)       Before we go any further, please do not try and ring BA Pensions about trying to locate a colleague – or ask about them – due to Data Protection;

2)       Write a letter to Pensions (address below) including your own staff number (using the prefix ‘1’), and contact details for yourself, listing as much info. as you can about the person you’re wanting to contact and why (ex-flying colleague, friend, etc.);

3)       Enclose a stamped envelope(s) with the person/peoples’ name on it/them and enclosing the letter you want them to see, along with your own contact details;

4)       If Pensions can find the person in their system, they’ll then address your S.A.E. and send it off to your colleague.  If they, in turn, wish to contact you, they will do so;

5)       Your contact number (supplied by you in your original letter) will be used to let you know if the person cannot be identified.

           BA PENSIONS, P.O. Box 2074, 8 Castle Street, Liverpool, L69 2YL.
