We all know by now that our iconic 747s have found resting places/homes all over the place - including Dunsfold in Surrey and Kemble in Gloucestershire.
Maybe we'd hoped to get one last get-together on a flight in her, but it was, unfortunately, not to be.
It has been suggested since though that maybe hiring her for one of our successful longhaul reunions may be a post-retirement objective - although a current projected cost of £1,000 per-hour would certainly be food for thought for the penny-pinchers amongst us?
