True to say it has been a monumental shock to hear that Bobby (ex-CSD Worldwide LHR) passed away on Sunday last at his home in Italy. Those who knew him and his partnerJohn will remember them both as very funny and articulate but, at the same time, immensely caring and genuinely lovely people. Simon Cole tells me that the funeral will be in Italy and will send the details as and when... but has added this:-
'...There will be a service in Hedsor church where he was my best man in 1983 (Hedsor, Buckinghamshire) for all his English friends. We have had many calls/texts already and so might have to arrange a wake at the Chequers Hotel, Wooburn Common, Buckinghamshire. We will need to confirm all this with both church and hotel. ......Rough idea of numbers to attend would be helpful, date of service will be posted as soon as we can...'
Totally agree Bob... Simon has undertaken to let us know about any arrangements as and when they happen...so will post them on here if, as and when.......
