Your Forum ...

... to those of you've signed up over here over the past few weeks. Principally, the original idea behind this sister website was to provide an alternative to those of you who didn't 'do' Facebook and, thus, get useful info from it.

Increasingly, it seemed desirable to provide more in the way of 'the basics' here, rather than duplicate the general nostalgia chat of our main site. We have this 'Forum' in which you are always welcome to discuss the similar nostalgia we all enjoyed, but, for those of you who know the difference between what you can do on Facebook (very limited) or do on your own website, may understand why this site may just prove to be worthwhile for a lot of you from hereon in (if we get it right!). We're aiming to provide basic information for both current and former crew on items that they, themselves, find useful, so your suggestions to enhance those offerings will always be well-received by email to:- 'crewsocial@yahoo.com'. In closing this first contact, one of the things we aim to prioritise is the provision of a 'Travel' link giving the sorts of deals and discounts we all find so useful - so, once again, if you have knowledge of such benefits to our crew family, please also communicate them to the above email address.... For those of you who are currently using both our sites, I have today handed over the admin. responsibilities for the Facebook page to our curator of 'all things BA', Juke Dilliway... and will now concentrate on developing this 'exterior' website. Whether it will be a success is, of course, just as much down to you lot as it is to me... 😊
