WHERE WE'RE 'AT' ...
The non-Facebook sites (overall) are going well.
Since we 'reinvented' this one, membership has been steadily climbing back towards previous levels. It was never intended to replace the incredibly-successful Facebook page, but, due solely to the fact(s) that not everyone gets on with Facebook, plus we can eventually offer you so much more here, it's an area we're going to concentrate on in 2019.
Since we transferred 'Crew Social Singles' onto its own website, it's frankly had a disappointing response. A recent invitation to everyone to sign-up on there (NO charge!) ...have a look at it ... and then let us know what you thought, resulted in a 'nil' response in terms of suggestions.
So...big thoughts in this direction in 2019 if nothing changes. It's possible that we could change the angle of it slightly to a 'friends' site where you can also get in touch with crew you've lost touch with...?
'Crew Social Destinations' is being developed - either as a site in its own right, or as an addition to this one, to give you travel tips from your colleagues in destinations both in Europe and worldwide..
Finally, 'Crew Social Support' (as you may know) stays on Facebook for the time-being. It has around 80 crew and ex-crew on permanent call worldwide ready to help you with any domestic 'home' problems you may find yourselves with - and we're currently helping around eight or nine of you in this respect.
So...there you have it. It really isn't a question of 'use them or lose them', because the whole reasoning behind Crew Social in the first place (in that Deepcut cafe nearly a year and a half ago), was to provide you with things you found useful...but you do need to let us know whether we've got it right for you from time to time?
Use ' admin@crewsocial.org ' to do that...
