FORMER STAFF NOW ???
It’s an obvious facet of business life that the most successful companies are those who keep abreast of what their customers – and, to a lesser extent (🙄?) staff – want, or need, to help the process.
To be frank, although I left full-time employment a while ago, I can’t say I remember when BA last appeared to give any more than lip-service to that thought.
Either way, the end result – maybe building momentum from today – is that there are going to be many more ‘retired’ staff in the pipeline.
Given that situation – and, although we don’t know how long we’ll be allowed on the premises either! – the Former Staff Liaison Council (which Jackie Goss and myself represent you on) will obviously try and help with your inevitable questions.
And, although we also don’t know what form Staff Travel will take when this is all done and dusted, we’d suggest you make yourselves aware of the current rules pertaining to what your service entitles you to. If you’re really not sure, check on the link above (‘Staff Travel’) and check it out.
