UPDATE 1 (26.08.23) ...
Well,,, thanks to 'Marxist Mick' and his RMT mates, there are, of course, no trains into Windsor next Friday... which, in turn, has thrown our reunion plans into their second spell of disarray this year.
As a result (and as I write) only just over half of you have topped up the money required by French Bros for a boat/pay bar/finger buffet provision next Friday.
So - and having had a chat with Katie - I'm now going to ring French Bros on Monday morning (they're not there at the weekends) and see what they suggest in the way of a boat trip with a pay-bar (but no finger buffet) for the money we've got already.
I've chatted to Browns Bar (back by the boarding jetty) today and made a booking for us all to 'de-boat' and leg it across to them to carry on the reunion after the river trip from around 1700 onwards.
Either way - and whatever happens - get ready to give me your bank details and I'll spend the winter months making sure some of you get the monies due back to you !
Watch this space from Monday morning onwards... and bear in mind that if you owe more and have not paid by Tuesday, your original payment could end up forfeited!

GETTING CLOSER!
Right... sorted!
A bit more expensive than we hoped, but we didn't have quite enough on the take-up to bring the price down...so the final payment is £44 each in total we're afraid. Please bear in mind though that this is a bit of a last-minute, 'one-off' arrangement - unless you want to do it again!
Our bank details are under my account (no... I'm NOT going on holiday afterwards! ) as follows:-
Lloyds ... sort code 30-64-37 ... 11696268 ... ref. 'MidFleet Reunion' .
We'll publish updated Runners 'n' Riders sheets regularly between now and the day, confirming those who've paid up each time...
If there are any specific problems, please get in touch via my mobile - 07766 233940

HERE WE GO... !
So... 'Plan A' is to meet at the French Bros. Terminal, Windsor Promenade, Barry Avenue, Windsor, Berkshire (nearest postcode: SL41 1QX)... or opposite Browns Pub/Restaurant ready for a sailing at 1330.
The boat itself is chargeable on two levels - i.e. up to 50 pax or up to 70 - so, as it stands a.t.m. with 44, it will be ever-so slightly more expensive until we hit the 50-mark... but it won't go over £40 per-head.
The price includes a four-hour cruise up-river to Bray and return, including a finger buffet and a pay-bar. Please note that payment for bar items is on a cash-only basis due to the fact that card machines regularly lose contact on the river.
So, we'll make the cut-off for bookings on Friday, August 18th at 1200... set the final price then and leave you all to make-up the difference from the sum you've paid already to our account at Lloyds - MID FLEET REUNION - sort code: 30-64-37- Acc.#: 11696268.
